We have observed in the pricing that this cottage has no upstairs WC and electric night storage heating. Some windows are double glazed, some are not and some would now benefit from attention. The garage is excellent but the outbuilding should not be considered a carport as our clients understand vehicular access to be covenanted as in "for maintenance purposes only" i.e. not for constant and regular use. There is a well in the drive which is covered by a grating. Between the cottage and its garage is a lightly used public footpath which is probably the original church path.

The popular village of Aller has a range of facilities, which include a village inn/restaurant, vineyard, pottery, 12th century parish church, community playground, village hall and eclectic lecture venue. The larger busy market town of Langport lies less than 3 miles to the south east. Langport has a range of facilities fulfilling most day to day needs, with a variety of shops including a Tesco store, medical centre, various churches and schools for all age ranges including the well-known Huish Academy and Sixth Form. The town of Langport itself lies only about 8 miles north of the A303 which connects to the national motorway network and is well placed for the larger towns of Taunton with its main-line railway station (London/Paddington), Bridgwater and Yeovil with their main-line railway stations (Waterloo and Paddington). The Dorset coast is about 25 miles.
From English Homes Langport office turn right passing Tesco and then left at the Esso service station signed towards Aller. Enter the village and bare left at the pub turning onto Church Path. This cottage will be found approximately 200 yards along on the left hand side indicated by an English Homes For Sale board.
