Agents Note

A previous owner rebuilt the gable end without proper consultation with SSDC or Listings' conservation officer. The latter has stated that he will tolerate this once the gable end has been repointed in a correct lime mortar mix for which estimates at under £3,000 have been obtained.

Health & Safety

A roof tile was found on the ground after recent winds and could have been a hazard. A structural survey of March 2018 says 'the roof structure overall appearing to be generally sound' but a builder says he can see other slipped tiles (we can't) and has advised that the roof be re-tiled. We are neither builders nor surveyors but see the slipped tile as a one off, but hard hats are available from the office upon request.
